A blend of Chardonnay from the legendary Lyon's and Osawa vineyards in Hawke's bay. The Lyon's vineyard, situated in the Gimblett Gravels provide a field blend of three Chardonnay clones. The Osawa vineyard is a cooler site with higher altitude and is planted in Clone 95 Chardonnay.
Hand harvested and whole bunch pressed to seasoned barrels for fermentation and maturation.
Lovely aromas of green apple and white peach with a subtle flinty edge.
Fresh acidity with grapefruit, apple, with plenty of interesting cashew and minerality leading to a long and exciting finish.
